During the last term, I gave more speeches in parliament than any other Labour MP, I wiped nearly 6,000 votes from Chris Tremain’s majority, a popular National incumbent, in the 2011 election (the highest swing against a sitting Nat MP in the country) and I wrote substantive policy and discussion docs on forestry and tax.
